Our DIY Starlink Mini Tripod+ Adapter for Mounting Almost Anywhere!

It seems like just a few months ago that we were announcing our Gen 3 Starlink Tripod Adapter for Starlink Standard. And then Starlink announced the new Starlink Mini a few months later adding yet another option to the mix. We've been traveling with both our Starlink Standard and Mini over the past few months, comparing both the performance and services plans to see which one is best for us. And of course, we deigned a new 3D printed tripod Starlink Tripod+ Adapter for the Starlink Mini!

Mounting Options

Mounting On A Tripod

We're still big fans of mounting our Starlinks on tripods for off the ground protection to and to get a better connection. Mounting On Almost Anything

We've also been trying different mounting options - on ladders, roll bars, etc - for our Starlink Mini using RAM Mounts compatible components since the Mini is so small and light. It can fit a lot more places than the Starlink Standard. When we have a clear view of the sky where we're camped, we attach the Starlink Mini to our truck camper's ladder using a RAM B Ball pole mount or use a clamp mount to attach it to a truck camper jack plate. We've found the following components most helpful, carrying a variety for different situations:

We're looking forward to traveling with our Starlink Mini, continuing to share our tips and experience with you.

See you out there,

-Adam
