Introducing Storied Stickers

Storied Stickers is a project to create stickers, tee shirts, and swag based on stories from my overlanding adventures and the adventures of other overlanders I meet in the field.

Introducing Storied Stickers
Our growing collection of stickers on the back of our rig BANTHA1

"Check out that sticker" is a common refrain while overlanding. Whether passing miles on a dirt road or highway, I've noticed almost every overlander has at least a few stickers adorning their rig. I frequently see stickers on vehicles, tents, propane bottles, coolers, etc. Snagging an awesome sticker is often a prize for an overlander. A badge of honor for visiting a place or completing a trail. In fact, overlanders often swap stickers when they meet sharing their secret stashes.

It makes sense, stickers are a great way to express the things you love and remember your accomplishments.  "Yes, we were at Overland Expo West too". Or "I also love Capitol Reef National Park," they say. Stickers are how we identify members of our overland tribes and tell our stories. I love asking another person about the story of a sticker.

Whether a sticker represents a brand, product, event, person, idea, etc, a sticker tells a unique story. A story of who you are and who you want to be. A story to remind you of yourself and your dreams. And a story for other people to start a conversation and learn more about you. "I too believe in leaving campsites better than I found them! I bet that person and I would get along. Maybe I'll go say hi and ask about that sticker to start a conversation." These are the reasons I love stickers and seek them out during overlanding adventures. And that's the reason I'm starting the Storied Stickers project.

Storied Stickers is a project to create stickers, tee shirts, and swag based on stories from my overlanding adventures and the adventures of other overlanders I meet in the field. I'll create and share a new sticker each month, including the story behind the sticker. A limited number of each sticker will be available. So if a story resonates with you, get a sticker and join the tribe. Maybe you'll see another adventurer out there with the same sticker and meet a new friend.

Be the first to know about new Storied Stickers by signing up to be notified when new stickers and stories are posted. And check out our first Storied Sticker.

See you out there,
